With capacity to accommodate up to 16 people, yet in a secluded and private subtropical rainforest location, Sweetwater Cottage offers you an opportunity to reconnect with your true self, loved ones, nature, or all of the above.

From the top of the property, you can enjoy ocean views extending from Caloundra down to Brisbane.

Unplug and enjoy the company of loved ones in our spacious undercover outdoor area. We hope you will enjoy a recent addition to the outdoor area, a custom-made reclaimed timber setting that accommodates 16 people - ideal for sharing a meal or lazy afternoon together.

 

Each afternoon native birds pay a visit to the Cottage to enjoy a meal on us (don't forget to put the seed out by 3pm!).

The Maleny and Montville area is highly sought after when it comes to getaways, weddings, reunions, retreats or simply getting together to celebrate a significant event. 

​

Our beautiful property is located a scenic 12-minute drive to Maleny or an equally beautiful 25-minute drive to Montville. Sweetwater is the perfect destination from which you can explore all the delights that the Sunshine Coast Hinterland has to offer. 

 

People travel from far and wide to experience all that this little slice of paradise has to offer. Spend a relaxing day or two (or week!) exploring the region's art galleries, wineries, cafes, breweries, cheese factories, specialty craft and clothing shops. For the more adventurous at heart, this part of world has some of the most amazing National Parks for you to experience.
